Robert (Bob) Young is Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Western Ontario. He is a fellow with the Institute of Intergovernmental Relations at Queen’s University and a research fellow with the C.D. Howe Institute. He is also co-director of the Political Economy Research Group and the Economic Policy Research Institute at Western. He is a past president of the Canadian Political Science Association.
He has worked in many fields - politics in Atlantic Canada, industrial and trade policy, and Canadian federalism in general and secession in particular. His current interests centre on municipal government and multilevel governance.
