Academic Positions

 

The Department of Political Science at The University of Western Ontario is a great place to teach and do research. We urge political scientists to explore this website to find out more about the exciting work in which members of Western’s department are engaged.

For each academic year in the foreseeable future, the Department will almost always be advertising vacant positions. Full-time positions are generally advertised from mid-autumn until December or January, with start dates on July 1 of the following year.

Summer positions are usually advertised in December; part-time positions during the regular academic year are advertised in April.

For both full-time and part-time positions, unusual situations can occur so advertisements may appear at any time.
